In short, you are getting flagship features in a smartphone that is supposed to be present in the mid-ranged category. However, the rear camera will still be able to capture 4K footage, which is impressive in its own right. We are thoroughly impressed that the South Korean tech giant has finally started to give the right amount of attention to its mid-ranged family and we are sincerely hoping that the smartphone comes with Marshmallow 6.0 installed.
Another thing that we are hoping for is that Samsung tones down the resource consumption metric of its TouchWiz interface. The interface has been severely criticized for being a memory hog and while Samsung has excelled in the hardware side of the business, it has much to prove in the software side. We hope that a string of mistakes has compelled the company to make the right choices and we hope that Galaxy A9 is also priced in such a manner that delivers the ideal price/performance ratio to consumers worldwide.
