Galaxy A9 is turning out to be a very impressive handset despite possessing specifications that will cater to those looking for a mid-ranged performing smartphone. However, additional hardware details reveal that the upcoming handset is not going to be your average mid-ranged device.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Going To Be Sport A Massive 4,000mAh Battery Along With Other Impressive Components

According to our previous benchmarking tests, it was revealed that Galaxy A9 would beincorporated with a Snapdragon 620, which gets its impressive processing capabilities thanks to a combination of Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A53 cores present inside the SoC. In fact, the latest benchmarking results leak show that the chipset is definitely a force to be reckoned with, as Geekbench shows that the chipset is able to obtain an impressive result in both the single and multi-core tests.

Additionally, we also reported that Galaxy A9 will have a camera sensor that will be able to effortlessly record 4K videos at 30FPS. In short, you are getting flagship features in a smartphone that is supposed to be present in the mid-ranged category. However, perhaps the biggest embarrassment to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5, the flagship smartphone that is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7420 is that the upcoming handset is going to feature a massive 4,000mAh, compared to the latter’s 3,000mAh cell.

That’s not all, because Galaxy A9 is also expected to sport a 6 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p. Naturally, due to pricing constraints, Samsung was forced to make a few sacrifices along the way, with the most notable ones being a 13MP/8MP rear and front camera sensor combination. However, the rear camera will still be able to capture 4K footage, which is impressive in its own right. We are thoroughly impressed that the South Korean tech giant has finally started to give the right amount of attention to its mid-ranged family and we are sincerely hoping that the smartphone comes with Marshmallow 6.0 installed.

Another thing that we are hoping for is that Samsung tones down the resource consumption metric of its TouchWiz interface. The interface has been severely criticized for being a memory hog and while Samsung has excelled in the hardware side of the business, it has much to prove in the software side. We hope that a string of mistakes has compelled the company to make the right choices and we hope that Galaxy A9 is also priced in such a manner that delivers the ideal price/performance ratio to consumers worldwide.

Samsung, we are expecting great things from your Galaxy A9, so please do not let us down in any manner whatsoever.
