Purported iPhone 7 Case Leaks, Shows No 3.5mm Headphone Jack

Purported iPhone 7 Case Leaks, Shows No 3.5mm Headphone Jack
Apple might be gearing up to launch its 4-inch iPhone SE later this month, but that hasn't stopped theiPhone 7 rumours and leaks from hitting the Web. The latest leak points once again to reports that that the Cupertino-based tech firm is likely to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in iPhone 7 to make the smartphone slimmer.
According to some leaked images allegedly showing a case of the upcoming iPhone 7 smartphone, there won't be any 3.5mm audio jack on the handset as there is no cut out for the port in the case.
The images were posted by a tipster @Onleaks on Twitter, and show the cover from all sides. Although the cut out for the rear camera, charging port, speakers, power button, and volume buttons are visible, there is no cut out for the headphone jack. For those unaware, the 3.5mm headphone port on theiPhone 6s sits at the bottom of the smartphone alongside the speaker grille.
The cover has a port in the middle for Lightning connector surrounded by two equal-width cut outs for speaker grilles, again hinting at the inclusion of stereo speakers. This also cements the previous speculation that iPhone 7 might as well come with Lightning headphones or Bluetooth headphones. Rest of the design seems similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s models. The measurements of the cover are not yet known. The images posted on Twitter also show an iPhone 6s fit inside the purported iPhone 7 case.
The iPhone 7 is also said to be 1mm slimmer than its predecessor, iPhone 6s, which already is 7.1mm thin. However, its metal build, height, width, and design profile will stay the same.
